On this date in 1963, basketball icon Michael Jordan was born. In 1998, the US women won the gold medal in the first women’s hockey tournament held in the Olympics. Finally, on this date in 2014, Jimmy Fallon took over for Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. Thanks for listening to this date in history.
