SCHOOL NEWS: 

The SWHS Drama Spring Play has been announced and it is...PUFFS! Or…Seven Increasingly Eventful Years as a Certain School of Magic and Magic. For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs...who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

It’s time for “this date in history.” On January 16, 1919, the 18th amendment, also known as the Prohibition amendment, was ratified by the states which prohibited the “manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors for beverage purposes.” In 1933, the 21st amendment was passed and ratified effectively repealing the 18th amendment. Thanks for listening to this date in history.
