CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES: 

Heart in Hands will have a club meeting on Thursday, December 11th, from 2:10 to 2:40 PM. We are a club dedicated to helping pediatric patients at our local hospitals. Learn more about our mission and goals for the year, and help us start planning future events. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you there.

The National Honors Society Clothing Drive Committee is holding a Winter Clothing Drive from today, December 8th, until Friday, December 12th. We would greatly appreciate any gently used coats, mittens, hats, socks, and other warm items. Please drop your donations in the labeled bins in the Main Lobby, outside the Cafeteria, and the Annex Lobby. Contact Nishi Bhambure with any questions. 

Attention, Bobcat Bards! The National English Honor Society will hold its first meeting this Thursday, December 11th, in Room 146 at 2:10. We can’t wait to welcome our newest members.

Please join South Windsor for the Local Kids on Friday, December 12th from 4pm-9pm at Oakland Pizza for a fundraiser to benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

South Windsor Youth Boys Lacrosse is hosting a used sports gear drive through 12/20. Drop off any and all used sports gear in the lobby at SW Parks & Rec on Foster Street. Then visit Play it Again Sports locations in West Hartford and Southington and mention the South Windsor Lacrosse Program for an in-store discount. 

The Cooking Club will celebrate a Jingle Bell Baking Bash theme on Thursday, December 18th in the SWHS Annex Kitchen 2:05 PM-4:00 PM.  We will make crinkle cookies, hot cocoa and marshmallow cupcakes, Nutella stuffed snowball cookies, Rudolph brownies, snickerdoodle cookies, Winter punch, Hot cocoa, and fried jingle bell oreos. Please bring $5 to Mr. Ly in AN 39 or Ms. Ruiz in AN 56. Come bake, eat, and be merry. 

The Drama Club will meet Monday, December 15th after school in Room 256. We will discuss preparations for the spring and our director, Caroline, will announce the upcoming show
